We’ve Come A Long Way Baby
It was 50 years ago today that the Lunar Orbiter I took this iconic photo of the earth from moon orbit. I show you the photo in its originally transmitted form on top, with the cleaned up remastered photo from NASA on the bottom. Amazing what they can do with such images now. But say you are like me, and you love all that space stuff, and you have trouble remembering all your passwords. How about combining the two?
Picture passwords were introduced in Windows 8.1 as a way to log onto your PC without remembering one of a half million passwords you have for everything in your life. It has been improved for Windows 10, and if you would like to learn how to do it, review the video below:
One thing to keep in mind – this works best with a touch screen device, as you many already have figured. Not that you cannot do it with a mouse, but it is just easier that way. And, keep in mind, this is probably the most secure way to keep the bad people out!
